We’re pleased to welcome Riley Hetzel to HEI’s team as a Graduate Engineer! Riley joins our surface water and modeling team in our water resources sector and will be based out of the Sioux Falls, SD, office. We are excited to see the impact she makes!

What drew you to HEI, and what excites you most about joining our team?
I like how HEI works across a variety of projects and emphasizes collaboration and mentorship. I’m excited to work on projects that have a direct impact on and improve communities. I’m also excited to learn a lot!
Where did you grow up?
Austin, MN.
Where did you go to college?
South Dakota State University.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, quilting, kayaking, fishing when I can, and spending time with my family.
What’s your favorite way to relax and unwind after a busy day?
I recently got into watercolors; it’s a great way to unwind.
What is your favorite fuel for staying energized?
Love a Peach Bubblr.
