Fun Facts

What drew you to HEI, and what excites you most about joining our team?
I am passionate about restoring and maintaining water resources, and HEI is one of the most respected firms in the region for water resources projects. The people I have met so far are people who share that same passion and have the skills to complete important and impactful projects.

What’s your favorite way to relax and unwind after a busy day?
I enjoy cooking and barbecuing a couple of nights a week and making plenty of extra, so I don’t have to do it the rest of the week. 🙂 I also enjoy reading historical fiction and non-fiction, bike rides around Iowa City, and playing soccer with my son.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Southern Chile, Patagonia region. It is very wild and untouched.

What’s your favorite snack?
Peanut butter or chocolate pretzels.

What is your favorite fuel for staying energized (type of coffee, tea, energy drink, etc.)?
Iced coffee with a bit of oat milk.
