Welcome Melissa Mortvedt to HEI

Welcome, Melissa!

We are excited to welcome Melissa Mortvedt as an Administrative Assistant in our Bismarck, ND, office. She joins HEI with a strong background in education, program coordination, and team support, bringing a wealth of organizational and communication experience to the role.

Throughout her professional career, Melissa has established a reputation for being detail-oriented, adaptable, and dependable while working closely with students, colleagues, and leadership teams. These strengths, combined with her passion for helping others succeed, make her an excellent addition to the HEI team.

Melissa was attracted to HEI by the opportunity to be part of a close-knit team and make a meaningful impact by supporting those around her. In her role, she will help keep projects and teams moving forward through administrative coordination, document management, and day-to-day operational support.

Melissa earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics Education from the University of Mary and a Master of Arts in Mathematics Education from Minot State University.

We are thrilled to have Melissa on board and look forward to seeing the many ways she will contribute to our team and clients.

Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Flin Flon, Manitoba, and then Elko, NV.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Hanging out with my family and taking pictures.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Lourdes, France. Since I was young, I wanted to see the healing waters.

What’s your favorite snack?
Popcorn.
