Welcome Brandon Lyczewski to HEI

Welcome, Brandon!

We’re excited to welcome Brandon Lyczewski to the HEI team as an Engineering Technician! Based in our Grand Forks, ND, office, Brandon brings 17 years of hands‑on industry experience in construction methods, inspection and safety, project management, and materials testing.

He holds a wide range of certifications, including Remote Pilot Certificate with a Small UAS Rating; NDDOT Asphalt Pavement Inspector, Erosion and Sediment Control, Aggregate Sampler; and AMPP Bridge and Concrete Coatings Inspector 1, which support his ability to gather and verify accurate, high‑quality jobsite data. Brandon’s technical background strengthens our project teams and the communities we serve.

Fun Facts

What drew you to HEI, and what excites you most about joining our team?
I had worked on a project with HEI before and found the team to be great! I am most excited about the opportunity to grow in multiple areas.

What’s your favorite way to relax and unwind after a busy day?
Sitting out in the sun on the deck or in a sauna in the winter.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I enjoy hunting or spending time outdoors, and spending time with my daughters.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Ireland. I am a big fan of the accents and landscape.

What’s your favorite snack?
Jalapeño Chips and Sprite.
