Tyler Olson Joins HEI

Tyler Olson joins our team as an Engineering Specialist located in Thief River Falls. Originally from Warren, MN, Tyler earned his bachelor’s degree in IT construction management from Bemidji State University.

  • Hobbies: Hunting, camping, being outdoors, going on ATV trails, and going on family vacations.
  • Family: Married with kids: 10 years, 9 years, 8 years, and 4 years.
  • Pets: Golden Retriever and two cats.
  • Random Fact: Enjoyed playing football for the Bemidji State Beavers while in college.
  • Most Memorable Vacation: Took our longest trip with all 4 kids and a dog in a mini van to Duluth and up the north shore to my aunt’s cabin this last July 4th. Explored the harbor and the many waterfalls and beautiful sites.
  • Top Destination on Bucket List: Alaska.
  • Most Memorable Concert: Kid Rock at WE Fest.
  • Favorite Movie Genres: Comedy and action.
  • Favorite Sports: Football and baseball.
  • Favorite Season: Fall.
  • On My Playlist: Rotates between rock and outlaw country.
  • Work Fuel: Love coffee a little too much.
  • Dream car: Decked out F350.
  • What do you love about your community? Being able to know the people I walk by on a daily basis and their friendliness.
