Earning a Professional Engineer license represents years of education, practical engineering experience, and professional growth. We are proud to congratulate three HEI engineers who recently achieved this significant career milestone: Jakob Ebinger, Dan Hendrickx, and Jayden Pegors.
Each engineer brings a unique background and perspective to their work. Continue reading to learn more about Jakob, Dan, and Jayden and the experience they bring to projects across the Midwest.
Jakob Ebinger, PE
Jakob joined HEI in 2021 after graduating from North Dakota State University (NDSU) with his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
As a design engineer in our Omaha, NE, office, Jakob works with cities, organizations, and other agencies on small- and large-scale water resources projects across the Midwest. He provides hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) analysis, H&H design, stormwater modeling, and storm sewer design to find and implement real solutions to stormwater challenges.
Dan Hendrickx, PE
Dan, a design engineer in our Alexandria, MN, office, joined HEI in 2020 as an intern and became a full-time civil engineer in 2021. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from NDSU.
Dan supports infrastructure and flood mitigation projects across North Dakota and Minnesota, with experience in stormwater system design, site development, municipal improvements, and design plan development.
Jayden Pegors, PE
Jayden is a design engineer based out of our Bismarck, ND, office. He joined us back in 2021 after graduating from NDSU with his degree in civil engineering.
Before his career as a civil engineer, Jayden gained hands-on experience working for regional construction firms while earning his civil engineering degree. Now, he draws on that experience as a design engineer, bringing firsthand insight to his project roles. His project experience spans across North Dakota, supporting municipal and regional entities in waste management and water resource projects.
Please join us in congratulating Jakob, Dan, and Jayden on this achievement. We are excited to see how they continue to grow in their careers and contribute to projects throughout the Midwest.
