Dereskos Earns Professional Engineer (PE) License

HEI congratulates Nitsa Dereskos, a design engineer in our Maple Grove, Minnesota, office, for earning her Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Since joining HEI in 2021, Nitsa has developed expertise in water resources engineering. She earned her bachelor’s degree in bioproducts and biosystems engineering, with an emphasis in environmental and ecological engineering, from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, and completed her master’s degree in civil engineering at the University of Florida.

Nitsa supports a wide range of projects, including flood management, stream restoration, water quality improvements in both urban and rural environments, and agricultural drainage.

By earning her PE license, Nitsa demonstrates her commitment to the engineering profession while helping strengthen HEI’s ability to serve clients and communities across the Midwest.
