David Orthengren and Isaac Purseglove Join HEI

HEI welcomes two new employees, David Orthengren and Isaac Purseglove. David joins as a GIS Technician located in Maple Grove and Isaac joins as Civil Technician located in Minot.

David Orthengren

David Orthengren joins HEI as a GIS Technician in our Maple Grove Office. David will work closely with engineers and scientists to collect and create data to generate project maps with ESRI ArcGIS software. His work will largely help water management organizations serve their communities by maintaining their water resources. Originally from Delano, MN, David earned his bachelor’s degree in environment, sustainability and geography with a minor in GIS from the University of Minnesota Duluth.

  • Hobbies: Guitar, video games, traveling, and snowboarding
  • Family: I have been married since October
  • Pets: Dog
  • Most Memorable Vacation: Lake Como, Italy, and the villages in the hills nearby
  • Most Memorable Concert: Alice in Chains

Isaac Purseglove

Isaac Purseglove joins HEI as a Civil Technician in our Minot office. Isaac will work with project managers to develop project specifications, designs, reports, and communications as well as perform construction observation and inspections.

Originally from Plainfield, MA, Isaac recently earned his associate of applied science degree in engineering technology from Bismarck State College. Before joining HEI, he worked in various surveying and technician roles for different organizations, including the US Air Force.
