Erik Hove joins HEI’s team as a Civil Engineer and will focus primarily on transportation and municipal projects for Northern Minnesota cities, counties, and the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Erik will be performing project management duties; providing detailed engineering analysis; preparing technical reports, plans, and specifications. Additionally, he will collaborate with project teams, lead business development efforts, and provide effective client communications for transportation services in Northern Minnesota. HEI is excited to welcome Erik to our team to help strengthen our reputation of becoming a regional leader in transportation services!

Originally from Devils Lake, ND, Erik has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of North Dakota. He is a licensed professional engineer in Minnesota and North Dakota and brings more than a decade of experience from his previous roles as County Engineer for Red Lake County (MN), Assistant County Engineer for Clay County (MN), and Civil Engineer for KLJ Engineering in Fargo, ND.

  • Hobbies: Running, hiking, and going to the lake.
  • Family/Pets: Married to my wife for 10 years this fall! We have two children, 2 years old and 5 years old. We have a golden doodle 9 years old. She enjoys sleeping 20+ hours each day.
