HEI Presents at NRDs Annual Conference

We’re excited to share that Connor Kelley will be presenting at the Nebraska NRDs Annual Conference on the topic, “Incremental Consequence Analysis for a High Hazard Dam.”

Connor’s presentation will highlight the Lake Mitchell Dam study, which used Incremental Consequence Analysis (ICA) to evaluate flood risk and determine a risk-based Inflow Design Flood. The study demonstrated how risk-informed dam safety evaluations can help maintain public safety while avoiding costly infrastructure upgrades that provide limited additional risk reduction.

Stop by our booth to visit with our team and continue the conversation. We look forward to connecting with fellow water resources professionals at the conference and sharing lessons learned from this unique project.
