The North Dakota Society of Professional Engineers (NDSPE) has five chapters with several HEI employees as active members. Each chapter hosts an annual awards banquet and this year Ryan David was awarded the Young Engineer of the Year Award for Chapter 3. The award recognizes NDSPE members who have made outstanding contributions to the engineering profession and the community during the early years of their career.
Ryan has been with HEI since 2016 and is as a Civil Engineer in HEI’s Bismarck office. He is actively involved in project management, design, drafting, document preparation, and construction observation on a variety of projects. Before joining HEI, Ryan was involved in the maintenance of water plant equipment and obtained licensure as a water plant operator.
Ryan has spent much of his career at HEI. He is one of many HEI employees that support the North Dakota Department of Water Resources with their Northwest Area Water Supply (NAWS) project. This multi-year project will supply reliable and good quality drinking water throughout north central and northwestern North Dakota. HEI has provided consistent and local consultation throughout the project life. Read more about NAWS here!
Congratulations, Ryan!
