Mara Sikkink joins HEI’s Maple Grove team as an Administrative Assistant. Mara will support staff with daily administrative duties, assist technical staff with the production of client deliverables and reports, streamline and manage office processes, lead coordination of office events and conferences, and support staff across other offices as needed.
Mara grew up on a farm in Zumbrota, MN, and lived in Utah for 13 years before returning to the Midwest last summer. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in marketing from Winona State University. She most recently worked as a coordinator of academic advising at Weber State University in Ogden, UT, and brings more than 12 years of experience to HEI’s team.

- Family: Married to husband, Mark, for 13 years and have two daughters: Lily (8) and Emma (4).
- Favorite Sports Team: “Skol Vikings!” Mara and her husband also have season tickets to the Minnesota Gopher football games and have gone to a few Gopher women’s hockey games this year.
- Currently Reading: “I am always reading something. My favorite authors are Ken Follett, John Grisham, Janet Evanovich, and Elly Griffiths. I’m always looking for recommendations.”
- Most Memorable Concert: “A few years ago, we went to see Adele in Minneapolis for our 10-year wedding anniversary and she was amazing!”
