HEI’s annual golf tournament, Teeing It Up for the Red Cross, organized by our Bismarck office was held on May 29 and had another great year! Participants of the 19 golf teams enjoyed games such as Bean the Bozo played by Mike Seminary, Par-3 Poker, door prizes, and more, during the 18-hole scramble held at Prairie West Golf Course in Mandan. Golfers even had a chance to win a car in the Hole in One Challenge sponsored by Kupper Chevrolet.
The 4-person golf teams who won this year were:
- 1st Place – Touchstone (Team 1)
- 2nd Place – Kelsch Law Firm
- 3rd Place – Touchstone (Team 2)
The annual golf tournament started in 2011 to benefit the American Red Cross Dakotas Region after the devasting 2011 floods in central North Dakota that affected Minot, Bismarck, Mandan, and the surrounding communities. HEI has since then continued to partner annually with the Red Cross to raise funds to provide shelter, food, supplies, and basic necessities to benefit local communities in the Dakotas region.
Many thanks goes out to all the volunteers and sponsors who made this event possible!
