Last week, the City of Minot's
Downtown Infrastructure Improvements project was recognized by the
American Public Works Association (APWA) at the Public Works Expo 2019 in Seattle. The project was chosen from projects throughout the nation as one of this year's most successful and impressive public works projects.
Lance Meyer from the City of Minot and Kevin Martin, Dave O'Shea, and Dave Schwengler from HEI were in attendance at APWA's Public Works Expo 2019 to receive the award. While in attendance, Lance and Kevin teamed up to give a presentation about the project to those attending the conference from all over the nation. The successful techniques used in this project were taken home by those in attendance, where they can apply these techniques to their own projects in the future.
