Our Maple Grove team celebrated the new office location with friends, family, and clients during a successful open house on Thursday, May 23. Attendees enjoyed hor d’eurves—like Swedish meatballs and salmon bites—and local brews from the watering hole (aka drink canoe). The cherry on top was an ice cream truck serving up classic novelties from
Mik Mart! HEI kiddos got to check out where mom or dad work, and even test out the spinning abilities of the new furniture.

With corn hole and movies playing in the background, our guests toured the new office space and learned about HEI’s services through various stations. In the Earth Room guests learned about the land surveying profession. Volunteers showed off the tools our surveyors use in the field while an explanatory video showed the equipment in action.

The Water Room was all about the importance of dams. A movie played showing the dangers that undammed water canals and rivers can pose to humans and infrastructure alike.

Finally, the Air Room was all about drone technology. With aerial photographs lining the walls and slideshows of our drone footage, guests saw the multiple uses and advantages drones provide to our project teams.

Thanks to all who came out to celebrate with us!
