Josh Johnson, PLA, ASLA, joins HEI's Sioux Falls office as a Landscape Architect. Josh will be leading HEI's landscape architecture services for all locations. He has more than 20 years of design and project management experience working in both the public and private sectors. His experience spans a wide variety of projects from master planning and land use plans to commercial site design and includes client representation throughout the many stages of the approval process. Combining landscape architecture with civil engineering components, Josh helps clients create places that are not only functional but aesthetic.

A Little About Josh
Josh grew up in Spring Valley, MN, and attended North Dakota State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in environmental design and bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture. After graduation, Josh started his career with firms in Rochester, MN, then continued his experience working in Huntsville, AL, for about five years until recently relocating to Sioux Falls, SD. Josh has worked as a landscape architect and project manager for numerous projects throughout South Dakota and Minnesota and is a registered Professional Landscape Architect in Minnesota, North Dakota, and Alabama with licensure in South Dakota, Iowa, and Wisconsin coming soon.
