Donna Jacob, PhD, PWS, has successfully completed the process and examination to become a Professional Wetland Scientist.
Donna, who serves clients throughout the upper Great Plains, is currently one of only three scientists in the state of North Dakota with this credential. The Society of Wetland Scientists (SWS) grants this certification to professionals who have signified that the academic and work experience meets the standards expected by his or her peers.
The SWS Professional Certification Program is accredited by the Council of Engineering and Science Specialty Boards and is the only national and international program that serves the public's need to identify qualified individuals to assess and manage natural resources. This program is intended to meet the needs of professional ecologists, hydrologists, soil scientists, educators, agency professionals, consultants, and others who practice wetland science.
