Michael Gunsch, PE, of HEI's Bismarck office has successfully completed the process and examination to become an ASFPM Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM®). The ASFPM grants this certification only to those professionals who meet the requirements and complete a comprehensive examination on the programs and standards to reduce flood losses in the nation. The ASFPM is a national program that recognizes continuing education and professional development that enhances the knowledge and performance of local, state, federal, and private-sector floodplain management professionals.
