Message from CEO/President Jeff LeDoux

The health and well-being of our employees, clients, and communities is our top priority. Please be assured you have my personal commitment and our company’s full attention regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.
We continue to monitor the ever-changing situation, and I thank our dedicated team members for their vigilance and commitment to keeping us and everyone we serve safe. HEI has formed a team that is meeting daily and reviewing data from local experts, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the World Health Organization for preventing and reducing the spread of COVID-19 as it evolves.
Response Measures and Work Continuity
- In response to the changing conditions in specific communities, we have officially locked our doors in our Minnesota offices per Governor Walz’s Stay at Home Executive Order. Be assured, however, that our Minnesota staff is working remotely serving our clients with the same professionalism and efficiency as they have in the past. Our offices in other states remain open currently; however, we limit access to employees only until further notice. Many of our employees in these offices are also working remotely as well as many working within the offices while following state and CDC guidelines.
- In order to keep your important projects moving forward while limiting the spread of the disease, employees have been either safely working from home offices or practicing social distancing and safe hygiene in open offices as recommended by the CDC.
- All client meetings will be held virtually. We have all the essential technology in place for our employees to communicate with each other and with our clients. We can also assist clients with setting up these meetings.
- Our staff is well-equipped to accommodate broad remote access while working from the safety of home offices. We have internal working remote guidelines in place to ensure clients receive our high standard of service to meet project needs.
We will get through this together. We’re resilient and will emerge as a stronger community. Thanks, and be healthy!
