FARGO, ND - We have an immediate opening for an Environmental Scientist.

Anticipated Duties:

  • Coordination and management of Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) studies
  • Water quality sampling, data analysis and report preparation
  • Hydrologic analysis
  • Water quality modeling (preferably HSPE and BASINS)
  • Preparation of TMDL study reports and implementation plans
  • Development of plans and specifications for structural best management practices
  • Preparation of state and federal permit applications and technical analyses necessary to support the permit applications
  • Assist with the preparation of Environmental Assessment and Environmental Impact Statements
  • Prepare and present projects at public meetings to audiences with varied interests
  • Assist with the preparation of watershed plans and technical reports for the management of rural nonpoint pollution and water chemistry
  • Business development activities including direct client contact and managing environmental projects

Minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s degree in environmental, civil, geological or agricultural engineering, hydrology, biology, soil science, or similar discipline with 4+ years experience.  Graduate degree preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
