NAWS Water Flowing to Kenmare

Houston Engineering has been involved with the Northwest Area Water Supply (NAWS) project for many years.  One component to this multifaceted project is the Kenmare Water Reserve Tower. On December 9 of 2009, the City of Kenmare began filling its reservoir with water from Minot through the NAWS pipeline. Kenmare will get about 100,000 gallons a day of NAWS water, which will cover about 80 percent of its needs at this time of  year.
